"The 2010 Les Cras from Domaine Méo-Camuzet is a very pretty and sappy wine that indicates that it had a chance to work a bit of the water through its system prior to being picked. The nose is deep, pure and classically Chambolle, offering up a blend of red and black cherries, vinesmoke, fresh herb tones, raw cocoa, a lovely, complex base of soil tones and a touch of cedary wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and transparent, with a nice sense of reserve, fine-grained tannins and lovely length and grip on the tangy finish. This wine was raised in just over fifty percent new wood this year."
