"Pungent notes of petrol, mandarin orange peel and rosemary resin add breadth to the dried yellow orchard fruit aromas. There is exceptionally good concentration for a villages level Chassagne as the round and very rich flavors possess impressive size and weight while retaining good balance and outstanding length. This is a powerful villages and while it's not an elegant wine it delivers much more than one usually obtains at this level and besides, you don't buy Chassagne villages looking for refinement. Highly recommended."
