This is also reserved but slightly riper with much more elegant red pinot fruit suffused with obvious minerality and a certain coolness that leads to rich, detailed, intense and textured flavors that are supple on the attack but firm up quickly on the complex and long finish. The tannins are a good deal more sophisticated here and I very much like the overall sense of harmony and refinement. Recommended.
