"Deep color. Open, expressive, slightly wild, sweet nose is attractive, with notes of dark berry fruits, sandalwood, tobacco, and lots of oak. Modern-styled on the palate in an attractive way. Thereâs a beautiful integration of fruit and structure. This luscious wine offers modest tannins, good acidity, and wonderful texture. Again, the oak treatment is prominent, adding flavor but not dominating. Perhaps a little weak in the mid-palate, the wine regroups for a long and satisfying finish. Dollar for dollar the clear 'value' wine of the tasting! Highly recommended for the money."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
The world's largest fine-wine region, built around blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Divided by the Gironde estuary into the structured Left Bank and the plush, Merlot-led Right Bank, it is the historic benchmark for age-worthy claret and sweet Sauternes.
The Left Bank appellation prized for perfumed, silky and elegant Cabernet-based wines. Gravel soils yield claret of aromatic finesse and refinement.
Chateau Malescot St-Exupery is a Third Growth estate in Margaux, Bordeaux, producing perfumed, refined yet firmly structured Cabernet-based wines.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
