"While still youthful, this is really coming along quite nicely with an elegant, pure and expressive nose that now mixes both primary and secondary red pinot fruit, mineral and earth nuances as well as a touch of game. There is a lovely mineral character expressed by the delineated, powerful and solidly concentrated flavors underpinned by softening tannins and plenty of finishing verve. For my taste this has arrived on the front edge of its peak drinkability though it should hold here for at least a decade. Excellent."
