"Luscious honeydew melon and apple are shadowed by musky, narcissus-like floral perfume and an esterous high-toned allusion to distilled fruits and berries, striking an entirely different key from that of the corresponding Piri, almost certainly due to this wine’s botrytis component. Silky in texture and downright opulent in its expansiveness and sheer sense of ripeness, this finishes with outstanding penetration, adding to its ripe array of fruits a welcome rivulet of fresh lime, an invigorating nip of raw ginger, and an almost implosively dense sense of stoniness."
