"Deep ruby-red. Floral aromas of blueberry and shoe polish; the 12% cabernet franc component is quite noticeable today. Velvety and sweet in the mouth, but lively acidity gives the fruit excellent delineation. Lovely depth of texture. Tannins are remarkably supple and ripe. Potentially the strongest Napa Valley bottling to date from this winery."
