"An astounding wine . . . . Deep mahogany core with deep brown rim. An unbelievable nose of cigar box, wet earth, pain grille and scorched leather, all with superb definition. The palate is very harmonious with the silky texture of a Vosne-Romanée. Not full-bodied, but has a lovely naturalness about it with a sweet, almost caramel-tinged, rustic finish. Very long. An "experience" to remember."
