"this is clearly going to be a lovely vintage for this fine, old-vine Aligoté, and it will be very much worthy of a special label to designate its centenary vintage. The wine offers up a classy nose of lemon, peach, a touch of beeswax, beautiful soil tones, dried flowers and a gently smoky topnote. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very long, with lovely, bouncy acidity, fine focus and a long, minerally finish. Fine juice."
