"(Raised in a combination of French and American oak): Opaque ruby. Smoky, oak-accented aromas of cherry, blackberry and violet, with an exotic note of Indian spices in the background. Fleshy and broad on entry, then tighter in the mid-palate, offering lively red and dark berry flavors and a hint of candied licorice. Finishes with youthful tannic grip and good spicy persistence. Give this wine at least another couple years in the cellar to allow it to stretch out."
