"Medium cherry-red. Pungent red cherry, spicy oak, mocha and smoky underbrush on the nose. Juicy and savory, with dry, moderately intense flavors of dark cherry and berries complicated by spices and herbs. Not a fleshy style but supple and shapely. The firmly tannic finish features smoky earth tones and woodsmoke. This spent 12 months in French oak, one-third new."
