"Only moderate bricking with very earthy aromas that display a touch of barnyard and underbrush notes that lead to rich, robust and somewhat rustic, full-bodied flavors that are long on richness and muscle if a bit short on elegance and finish. Still, this offers really lovely quality for a "simple" villages level wine from a difficult but not unsuccessful vintage. In short, this is impressive for what it is."
