"The nose is deep, pure and very vibrant, as it jumps from the glass in a blend of black cherries, dark berries, complex soil tones, woodsmoke, fresh herbs and a touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very long, with great focus and balance, ripe, suave tannins and great bounce from sound acids on the long and intensely flavored finish. The backend of this wine is stunning, as it really takes off from the mid-palate back. Great juice."

Produces the world's most revered Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from a mosaic of tiny, terroir-defined climats. Its hierarchy of village, Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards makes site the ultimate expression of quality.

A thin-skinned, terroir-sensitive red producing perfumed, silky and elegant wines of red-berry fruit and earthy complexity. It reaches its apogee in Burgundy.
