"The 2013 is another absolutely beautiful wine in the making, delivering an utterly refined nose of apple, lemon, chalky minerality, fruit blossoms, a bit of orange zest and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and racy in personality, with excellent mid-palate depth, beautiful focus and balance, bright acids and outstanding transparency on the long and nascently complex finish. A beautiful wine in the making."

A pinnacle of white Burgundy, producing taut, mineral and long-lived Chardonnay of great precision and finesse.
2013 in Burgundy was a difficult, cool and hail-hit year with a late harvest and small crop; the wines are fresh, lean and classically styled, with bright acidity and firm structure, especially the reds.
The world's most versatile white grape, producing everything from steely Chablis to rich, oaked whites. Its neutrality makes it a mirror of terroir and winemaking, and the foundation of white Burgundy and Champagne.
