"...A very deep and complex nose of black cherries, plums, raw cocoa, beautiful soil tones, a touch of venison, woodsmoke and a fine base of spicy oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and sappy at the core, with great nascent complexity, ripe, but very fine-grained tannins, excellent focus and balance and a very long, tangy and transparent finish. This is a great wine."
