"Bright medium ruby. Cool aromas of candied blackberry, plum, flowers, cedar, mocha, bitter chocolate, violet and eucalyptus. Juicy, spicy and sweet, with primary flavors of black fruits, bitter chocolate, violet and smoke. This boasts subtlety and lift in the middle palate. Finishes with firm, dusty tannins and a lingering floral note. I might have scored this even higher but for a bit of finishing dryness that emerged as the wine opened in the glass. A very promising first release for this wine; Rolf Binder consults here."

Renowned for powerful, richly fruited Shiraz, most famously from the Barossa Valley, alongside age-worthy Cabernet and cool-climate whites. A warm climate and old, ungrafted vines produce wines of generosity and depth.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
