"Raised in 50% new oak, this has a ripe bulbous nose, a touch of bell pepper and truffle. The palate is not ashamed of its oak but at least it has the fruit to back it up. Modern in style, a smooth sheen of sweet plum and dark cherry on the finish. Tasted January 2011."
