"Good full deep red. Subdued but pure aromas and flavors of currant, dark cherry, licorice and graphite. Voluptuous and sweet, but not heavy; this saturates every square millimeter of the palate. Almost painful intensity to the wave of fruits and minerals. Boasts compelling sweetness but with real lift and energy. Finishes with plenty of dusty tannins and outstanding building length. Really exploded with 24 hours in the recorked bottle."
