"Lemon, grapefruit and apple are boldly announced in the nose, along with intimations of chalk dust and Grüner Veltliner-like pepper. Vividly and brightly juicy, the polished mid-palate evinces a welcome sense of lift (even at 12.5% alcohol), and the finish a fascinating call and response of fruit and mineral elements as well as invigorating fruit pit piquancy and peppery bite. Look for this to gain in complexity with time in bottle."

A historic Riesling region along the Rhine, producing racier, often drier wines of structure and mineral depth from south-facing slopes.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
