92 JG "I quite liked the Fritz Haag auction SpÀtlese this year, for though the wine was a tad bigger and riper than is normal for this PrÀdikat level, it retains its transparency and sense of delicacy at this slightly larger scale. The bouquet offers up a fine blend of apple, pear, white cherries, minerals and lime blossom. On the palate the wine is fullish for SpÀtlese, but fresh and beautifully bright, with sound acids, excellent focus, and impressive length on the soil-driven finish. Lovely wine."
