"Dark red. Redcurrant, cherry and woodsmoke on the nose. Supple, full and generous, with pliant, creamy flavors of blackberry, cassis, spices and cappuccino. Shows a slight baked quality from the zin element. Finishes with dusty, easy tannins and good length. This is exactly the kind of user-friendly second-label bottling that could win new friends for California."
