"I tasted from two bottles, one that had been opened for a week, (yep, a week!) and one that was just uncorked. The bottle that was opened for a week was much more expressive and aromatic, with perfumed notes of jasmine, roses and ripe peach, while the just-opened bottle had a strong mineral note of petrol with great complexity and nuances. The palate is light to medium-bodied, with electric acidity, focused, delineated and pure. The dilemma is whether to pop and drink or wait a week! Both ways work! A superb white of strong personality. I’m very curious to see how this wine ages in bottle, as I believe it has the balance and stuffing to do so."

Spain has the largest area under vine of any country and a deep tradition of oak-aged reds. Tempranillo-based wines from Rioja and Ribera del Duero, alongside Priorat's Garnacha and Carinena, anchor its fine-wine reputation.
