"Color: deep amber hue; Nose: not what I expected; a very distinct caramel component; a gorgeous honey component on the back-end and some lime peel; a crÚme brûlée component; very gorgeous and complex; some apricot as well; Taste: this is extremely good; great viscosity; huge density; beautiful banana peel, crÚme brûlée; melon components, great floral aspects; great weight; sugar cane on the mid-palate; just gorgeous and very well made; great depth; this is a Home Run and brings serious thunder; a gorgeous pairing w/ the Ginger Bread house; this is a very substantial Sauternes - it completely attacks your palate and doesn't let go; this is 'Nectar-of-the-Gods' delicious."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
The world's largest fine-wine region, built around blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Divided by the Gironde estuary into the structured Left Bank and the plush, Merlot-led Right Bank, it is the historic benchmark for age-worthy claret and sweet Sauternes.
Produces the world's most celebrated sweet wines, made from Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc affected by noble rot. Rich, honeyed and remarkably long-lived, they balance sweetness with vibrant acidity.
Yields crisp, aromatic whites with citrus, herb and grassy notes. It shines in the Loire, Bordeaux blends and around the world for its refreshing zip.
Prized both for age-worthy dry whites and, when affected by noble rot, the great sweet wines of Sauternes. It offers waxy texture and honeyed depth.
