"I loved Saint Damienâs 2006 Gigondas Les Souteyrades, and this beauty has more fruit, texture and depth than almost every other wine in the vintage. Made from 80% Grenache and 20% Mourvèdre, from the Les Souteyrades lieu-dit located close to the estate down on the plateau, itâs loaded with notions of Provencal herbs, olive, smoked meats and ample dark fruits. Full-bodied, mouth-filling, rounded and downright sexy, itâs fully mature and drinking great today. Thereâs no reason to hold off here, but it will hold nicely . . ."
