"Good bright medium ruby. Highly aromatic nose of cassis, crushed blackberry, violet, cola, cedar, mint chocolate and shoe polish, with enticing spicy high tones. Sweet and lush but penetrating, with lovely vinosity giving shape to the black fruit and mineral flavors. Surprisingly expressive in the middle palate but finishes with youthfully tough, molar-coating tannins . . ."
