"A very spicy and seductive black fruit nose reveals undertones of earth and even a hint of game that can also be found on the powerful, big, rich and robust flavors that possess real size and weight, especially in the context of the 2006 vintage that delivers more spice on the sappy and admirably long finish. This is an impressively-scaled Ech and while not necessarily an elegant wine, there is plenty of character and mid-palate concentration."
