"Butter, orange and a hint of spice on the varietally expressive nose. Supple and easygoing, with sweet peachy fruit nicely carried by harmonious acidity. A suave, silky, generous wine that's also quite dry and light on its feet. Finishes with subtle, ripe length. One of several very good New Zealand pinot gris bottlings I tasted in recent months."
