"The 2010 EchĂ©zeaux from Domaine Bouchard PĂšre et Fils is outstanding. The wines hails from a parcel of vines the domaine owns in the lie Ă dit of Combe dâOrveau, and offers up a superb bouquet of dark berries, cassis, raw cocoa, espresso, woodsmoke, gamebirds, lovely soil tones and cedary, spicy new oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and complex, with a rock solid core, fine focus and a long, ripely tannic and oak spicy finish . . . . It is pretty clear that the domaine is making great wine from this parcel and look out for it . . ."
