"The 2012 Chambolle-Musigny Village comes from 8 parcels of vine scattered around the appellation, the vines averaging between 50 and 60 years in age. It has corpulent and very pure red berry fruit on the nose that is harmonious and rounded. The palate is rounded and very smooth in the mouth (and this sample was not taken from a new barrel that will ultimately constitute around 25% of the blend.) This should turn out to be quite a sumptuous village cru."
