"Inky ruby. Powerful aromas of blackberry, boysenberry, candied plum, tobacco and black cardamom, with a sexy vanilla undertone. Fleshy, smooth and sweet, offering palate-staining dark berry flavors and molten tannins. The finish is lush, creamy and very long, with a strong blue fruit note resonating. This wine is made by the ripasso method, with juice fermenting on the skins of the air-dried berries from The Pagan bottling."
