"(72% petit verdot and 28% syrah) Bright ruby-red. Brooding aromas of black fruits, licorice, bitter chocolate and rose oil, plus a medicinal menthol element. Densely packed and firm; more backward than the red blend and less sweet today. The medicinal dark berry flavors are bright and juicy, but an acid streak and mounting tannins currently give the finish a youthful tartness. . ."
