"At 109 grams, Hexamerâs 2011 Meddersheimer Rheingrafenberg Riesling Spatlese certainly puts to the test Rieslingâs notorious capacity for canceling-out the effects of residual sugar and passes with flying colors. While there is a syrupy aura and character of quince jelly, there is bright acidity to keep things lively as well as zesty grapefruit rind and sizzling brown spice to invigorate. Elderflower, lily-of-the-valley, mint, and chamomile add to the sweet allure of this subtly creamy, succulently persistent Riesling likely to repay the better part of two decadesâ cellaring."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
