"From a 0.36 ha parcel - 75% from 25-year-old vines and the remainder from 40-year-old vines. In the context of the vintage, the fruit here is quite bright and while it's certainly ripe, the aromatic profile leans towards plum and cassis rather than prune . . . . big, rich and powerful flavors . . . and I particularly like the finishing complexity and there is enough density that this should successfully eat its wood."
