"Deeper in color, yet with a similar hedonistic slant, the 2010 Syrah is gorgeously textured and supple, with notions of graphite, blackberry, melted licorice, toast and hints of ripe herbs all soaring from the glass. Full-bodied, supple and sexy on the palate, with a lengthy, heady finish, it should drink beautifully through 2018. As with the Azimuth, it benefits from a short decant if drinking anytime soon."
