"Medium ruby. Subtly complex nose melds cherry, bitter chocolate, minerals, tobacco and smoky oak, along with an enticing floral note. A step up in density: silky, sweet and suave, with nicely integrated acidity. Laid-back and rather stylish, but with a serious structure for aging. Finishes with subtle length and sweet, spreading tannins."
