"Good pale color. Highly scented, carnal nose of orange, honey, butter and smoke. Round, lush and deep, with lively acids contributing to the impression of power. Spicy and palate-staining on the back end, still a bit youthfully aggressive. Not especially sweet at 13 r.s., and not at all heavy. This is from argilo-calcaire soil and a S/SW exposition, while the Geisberg is south-facing, on rockier soil."
