98 ST "Rich gold. Captivating, smoky aromas of candied pineapple, caramelized apricot and fresh fig embedded in pure brown spice botrytis. Unctuous tropical fruit flavors are leavened by an ethereal, slate-driven minerality. The unending finish saturates the palate with complex spices, toasted almond and lemon oil. This must be the finest auslese of the vintage!" 95 JG "The nose offers up a tropical blend of guava, apricot and desiccated peach, a bit of lemon curd, incipient notes of petrol and an underpinning of minerality...On the palate the wine is full-bodied, young and bottomless, with its 12 parts per liter of acidity providing plenty of lift to the tides of tropical fruit, and the endless finish turning almost caramelly from all the botrytis."

The spiritual home of Riesling, producing wines of piercing acidity, precision and longevity across a spectrum from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. Cool, steep-sloped vineyards along the Mosel and Rhine yield some of the world's most delicate, long-lived whites.
A highly aromatic white of piercing acidity and transparency to terroir, ranging from bone-dry to lusciously sweet. It ages remarkably and is the noble grape of Germany and Alsace.
