"Saturated ruby-red. Black fruits, minerals and smoke on the nose, with suggestions of superripeness. Sweet, dense and smoky; quite firmly built but also downright creamy in the middle. Blackberry and mineral flavors are complicated by a light meaty quality. Finishes very long and smoky, with suave tannins. Very interesting wine."
