". . . good juice. Touch of minerality on the nose with nice concentration on the palate finish with apples, minerals and oak spice . . . . But still interesting. It is amazing how a $30-$35 White Burgundy compares with CA chardonnay at the same pricepoint. I mean what are we comparing this to? Patz & Hall Sonoma Coast, Lewis Chardonnay, etc. This is a more minerally style but even though not rich as CA chard at this price point - but just so much more interesting. There was nuance and complexity that kept me coming back for more . . . . But even this humble bottling smokes almost any Chardonnay from CA, Australia, Oregon, etc at this price point. And the great thing about Burgundy is that there are tons of wines at this price point. Colin St. Aubins, village CM from Ramonet, Niellon etc. Gee this tasting note turned into a rant."
