"The 2011 Pinot Noir Platt Vineyard stands out for its statuesque personality. A firm, structured wine, the Platt is going to require more patience than some of the other 2011s here, but it is fabulous, even today. Tobacco, dark red cherries, mint and licorice are some of the notes that appear on the finish. This is another dazzling wine full of promise. While the Pivot is a sensual wine, the Platt is all about structure."
