"Tasted at the UGC in London and at Mouton-Rothschild. The Clerc-Milon has an explosive bouquet of wild strawberry, dark cherries and cassis that is beautifully defined and to be honest, puts the dāArmailhac ā10 in the shade. Philippe Dhalluin believes this is perhaps the finest vintage ever made. The palate is medium-bodied with ripe blackberry and minerals on the entry. It is beautifully balanced and more expressive than dāArmailhac, fanning out towards the finish with precocious, sweet black fruit balanced by a citric thread of acidity. Outstanding. Tasted November 2012."

The world's most influential fine-wine producer and the benchmark for Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne and the Rhone. Its appellation (AOC) system codifies geography, grape and method, and its wines set the global standard for age-worthiness and terroir expression.
The world's largest fine-wine region, built around blends of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Divided by the Gironde estuary into the structured Left Bank and the plush, Merlot-led Right Bank, it is the historic benchmark for age-worthy claret and sweet Sauternes.
Home to three of Bordeaux's five First Growths, Pauillac is the Left Bank benchmark for powerful, structured Cabernet Sauvignon. Its wines are famed for cassis, cedar and graphite notes and exceptional aging potential.
Chateau Clerc Milon is a Fifth Growth estate in Pauillac, Bordeaux, owned by the Rothschild family of Mouton, making richly fruited, structured Cabernet-dominated wines.
2010 in Bordeaux is a great classic vintage shaped by a dry growing season and drought that yielded small, concentrated berries; the wines are powerful and richly structured, with firm tannins, high alcohol and outstanding long-term aging potential.
The world's most planted premium red grape, yielding deeply colored, tannic and structured wines with cassis, cedar and graphite notes. Firm tannins and acidity make it exceptionally age-worthy, whether as a varietal or the backbone of a Bordeaux blend.
