"Deep, bright ruby-red. Complex nose offers boysenberry, blueberry, cola, tobacco, smoked meat and nutty oak. Sweet and lush, but with good energy to its very ripe flavors of boysenberry, chocolate and sweet oak. This began a bit chunky but showed stronger fruit and greater verve with extended aeration. The firmly tannic, long finish features strong dark berry and oak elements."
