"A still quite fresh and impressively complex nose is composed by mature green apple, pear, petrol and wet stone. There is equally superb complexity to the still hugely powerful big-bodied, unctuous and even slightly oily flavors that still manage to seem as though you're rolling rocks around in your mouth on the strikingly persistent and palate coating finish. This is a massive wine, particularly for the vintage, that is seductively textured, concentrated and muscular yet it remains precise, pure and balanced with a finale that seems to go on and on without end. For my taste this has arrived at its peak though it should easily be capable of holding her for years to come."
