"Deep ruby-red. Extremely closed nose hints at underlying black fruits. Densely packed but painfully backward and reduced. Finishes very tight, with tongue-saturating tannins. Winemaker, Jean-Nicholas Méo was considering giving this an extra racking in December in addition to the racking prior to bottling, or may by now have decided to rack and fine at the same time."
