"A somber and brooding nose requires some vigorous swirling to coax slightly more elegant and higher-toned red pinot and distinctly animale aromas where the latter component is also picked up on the beautifully textured, rich and notably full-bodied flavors that are intense and somewhat chewy on the balanced, menthol-infused finish. In a word, lovely."
