"The 2001 Elivette, which is again a Cabernet Sauvignon/Merlot blend, is better than I remember it after bottling. Foresty black currant notes intermixed with some fresh sauteed porcini mushrooms, damp earth and a floral note are all noticeable in the impressive perfume. Medium-bodied, slightly more compact than the Cabernet Sauvignon, but displaying nice, sweet tannin and very good fruit. . ."
