"Good pale straw-yellow. Clove, wet stone, flint and oyster shell on the mineral-driven nose. Fat and rich but less sweet and expressive today than the Vaudesirs. Hints of mirabelle, licorice and pepper are currently dominated by stone. Fine-grained but holding back today, with a slightly phenolic finish that calls for patience. I'd like to revisit this wine in five years."
