"Opaque ruby. Varietally accurate aromas of dark berries, cherry skin, licorice and musky herbs, with hints of violet and black tea in the background. Blackberry and bitter cherry flavors show very good depth and intensity and pick up sweetness with air. Dusty tannins add grip the the finish, which repeats the licorice and blackberry notes."
