"Good deep ruby. Ripe, complex aromas of cassis, licorice, graphite and cedar; an essence of this vineyard. Then rich, sweet and thoroughly ripe, with an almost exotic quality but excellent cut and lift to the velvety dark fruit, licorice and mineral flavors. Finishes very broad and very long, with fine tannins reaching the teeth and a lingering note of bitter chocolate. This really perfumes the palate."
