"This is quite a bit more elegant with a beautifully nuanced aromatic profile of admirably pure and cool red pinot fruit, earth and stone that is trimmed in a deft touch of wood. The intense medium weight flavors that are built like those of the Pézerolles, which is to say precise, fresh, balanced and finely detailed yet here the intensity is dialed up ever further and there is more overall depth and length. A show stopper of a wine that is a gorgeous combination of power and finesse but note that lots of patience will be required."
